The first time I remember being in love with writing was when my grandma worked for our local school district. She would bring me to work with her sometimes and the only thing I'd want to do was sit at her desk and type out stories on her typewriter. Eventually, after she retired, we moved a few times, and the typewriter has since vanished, but my passion for writing hasn't.

After that I took to writing out my own stories and - surprisingly - I didn't start with fanfiction. I wrote about my own characters and ideas before my friend convinced me I should write fanfiction. So, as most kids do, I put aside my writing and listened to my friends. For most of my teenage years I wrote a lot, and it was all fanfiction, but as I got into High School, I trailed back to my old works and started to write both. By the end of High School I had a teacher who helped me work on the plot for my books and I really started to take writing seriously.

Despite some of my family's attempts over the years to get me to focus on other careers that would be more stable, I kept writing. Soon enough, I stopped writing fanfic-like-fanfic and started writing book-like-fanfic which turned out to not be popular in online circles. I took those fanfics and turned them into my first books, "Searching for Home" and "Blood of the Coven." And while they haven't been at all best sellers, these books have inspired me to keep going and now I have proven to myself that I can do it.

With that in mind, I have a plethora of new and unique book ideas I've always wanted to write stored away and ready to work on. I have many new skills under my belt thanks to all my years of learning and writing and I'm ready to fully embark on the journey of being a published author. I can't wait for you guys to read more of my books and stories. I hope you fall in love with the worlds I create as much as I have.
